Privacy Policy
Ireh Bible processes personal information and usage records necessary to provide Bible reading, devotional records, bookmarks, AI questions, and feature request services.
The app does not request location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera permissions and does not sell information for advertising tracking.

2. Information We Process and How We Collect It
- Account information: When you choose Google, Kakao, or Apple login, we receive authentication tokens and account identifiers from that provider.
- Session information: The app stores access tokens and refresh tokens in secure device storage to maintain your login session.
- Device identifier: The app may create and use a random device identifier to support basic features and server synchronization for signed-out users.
- User-created information: Bookmarks, notes, devotional answers, Bible journey progress, AI question history, and feature request titles and content may be created through user input or app usage.
- Technical information: Minimal technical information such as request time, app version, and server request logs may be processed for error handling, security, and abuse prevention.
- Diagnostic information: To analyze app errors and crashes, diagnostic information such as app version, operating system, device model, error message, stack trace, and screen route may be processed. We do not intentionally collect user-created content such as bookmarks, notes, devotional answers, or AI question text for error diagnostics.
3. Purpose of Use
- We use information for account authentication, login session management, record synchronization across devices, bookmarks and notes, devotional records, Bible journey progress, AI answers and history, and feature request handling.
- We use information as needed for service reliability, security, error analysis, abuse prevention, and legal compliance.
- We do not use information for targeted advertising, third-party sale, or tracking user activity outside the app.
4. Third Parties and External Services
- Login is handled through the authentication service selected by the user, such as Google, Kakao, or Apple, and each providers privacy policy may also apply.
- The AI question feature sends the user question and related Bible passage to the server to generate an answer. Users should not enter sensitive personal information or another persons personal information in AI questions.
- Error monitoring providers such as Sentry may process diagnostic information for app error monitoring and crash analysis. This processing is limited to what is necessary for service reliability.
- Infrastructure providers for servers, databases, authentication, and AI processing may process information as necessary to operate the service.
- We do not disclose personal information to third parties except where required by law, valid government request, dispute handling, or service operation needs.
5. Retention and Deletion
- Account information and user-created records are retained while the account is maintained and the service is provided.
- When you request account deletion from the Settings screen, we process deletion of server-stored data linked to the account.
- App settings, reading position, and local cache stored on the device may be deleted by uninstalling the app or resetting device app data.
- Information required for legal compliance, security incident response, dispute handling, or abuse prevention may be retained for the necessary period.
6. User Rights
- Users may request access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing of their personal information.
- Users can log out or request account deletion from the Settings screen.
- Social login connections may also be managed from Google, Kakao, or Apple account settings separately from the apps account deletion flow.
7. Security
- Authentication tokens are stored in secure device storage, and production server communication uses HTTPS.
- We minimize access to personal information and apply safeguards needed to operate the service.
- The app does not directly collect passwords and uses the authentication process provided by social login providers.
8. Children
- This app is not designed primarily for children and does not knowingly collect childrens personal information.
- If a guardian believes a childs personal information has been processed, deletion can be requested through the feature request screen or by email at strmage2@gmail.com.
9. Changes and Contact
- If this Privacy Policy changes, we will notify users through this page or store update notes.
- For public distribution, this pages public URL should be registered in App Store Connect, Google Play Console, and Google OAuth settings.
